The extraordinary BBC television series wriiten and hosted by mathematician, biologist, poet, playwright, historian and inventor Jacob Bronowski, who traces the history of mankind, and its ascent from a feature of the landscape to a shaper of it. This series consists of 13 one-hour episodes, and we will watch two episodes each week.

Join us in viewing and discussing this marvelous, optimistic outlook on the history and future of humanity, from an Eastern Eurpoean Jew who lived through the time of the Holocaust, and a scientist who witnessed the destruction wrought by the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
