***NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY***
Meet others who are interested in psychic phenomena. We discuss, study and share a very wide range of psychic, spiritual, metaphysical, paranormal and holistic topics. Members are generally from middle Tennessee, northern Alabama and southern Kentucky with a few in other states. Events posted here usually take place in Nashville but may be held in other cities throughout the region. Also follow us on Facebook HERE!
NPM is not simply a group of psychics/mediums as its name suggests, though some members have been gifted or have developed (or are developing) those and/or other abilities. NPM was originally founded on these ideas and welcomes all people as they are, no matter what one's beliefs, experiences or level of knowledge may be. All are invited who have inquiring minds. NPM is free to join but most all group hosted events will have a small cost to attend so that NPM can cover the expenses of hosting the event and hosting this meetup group website.
NPM gladly accepts donations HERE to help pay the $144 yearly fee that Meetup.com charges to host this group website so that it can continue to be a free resource for the community. Donations are also accepted in person at any meetup hosted by one of the current organizers. Donations will also help fund free group events in the future.
NPM is an open group. All members are considered potential organizers and event hosts. Many members post events on the NPM group website. Practitioners, teachers, facilitators or any member may organize and suggest an event any time, anywhere, by following these instructions.
Each Event Host must decide for themselves whether or not to charge a fee to attend their event, ask for donations or make their event free. NPM receives none of the proceeds from your event but small donations are appreciated to help pay the Meetup.com fee and keep this group website free.
NPM is a very diverse group that ranges from what one might call *beginners* all the way up to people with a lifetime of experience in various fields and every level in between. We share with, teach and learn from each other. Whether you are trying to explain the amazing things that happen in your life or you are just curious about what is possible, we invite you to join us to share experiences and learn together.
We only have three requests:
1. Treat everyone with the same level of courtesy and respect that you would want to receive in return.
2. Please understand that Meetup is NOT Facebook. The RSVP and YES buttons on this site, and in emails you receive, are NOT "Like" buttons. When you click one of those buttons, it means an Event Host is expecting you (and your guests, if any) to honor your commitment to show up. The same holds true for any meetup group of which you are a member. If you do RSVP YES for an event and your plans or your guest(s) plans change, no problem. Please kindly respect the Event Hosts and return to change your RSVP to NO or change your guest count.
3. Please do not cancel on the day of an event unless it is absolutely necessary. Make your decision sooner. Event Hosts spend a lot of time and energy to plan, set up, tear down and host events. In many cases they also spend money on things like room rentals, class materials or refreshments. Often times they need to know an accurate attendee count in advance to properly prepare. Yes, we understand that "life" happens to all of us from time to time and that unexpected "no-shows" are unavoidable once in a while. But please do not consistently disrespect Event Hosts by costing them unnecessary time, work and expense by abusing buttons that tell them you're attending when you're not, or by regularly canceling at the last minute. No one deserves that. Thank you in advance for your help.
Enjoy your time here and enjoy connecting with others at all of the different meetups you may choose to attend!
