Davidson County lies entirely within the Cumberland River drainage, and that river bisects the county from east to west. The Cumberland is joined by the Stones River above downtown Nashville. The Harpeth River skirts the southwest edge of the county, but its confluence with the Cumberland is further downstream in Cheatham County. In addition to the three rivers, numerous creeks and smaller tributaries flow into the three rivers. Each of the rivers and some of the tributary streams are large enough to support use by recreational canoers and kayakers, at least for a large part of the year.

Thanks for Volunteering! We will be working Saturday and Sunday from 9am until around 4:30. While we do have some shovels and such if you have a preferred one, by all means bring it along. If you could also send me a contact phone #, I'd appreciate it. Just in case some unforeseen event necessitates a cancel, that way I could contact you. My email is [masked]. Thanks again.
