Are you a native Nashvillian or where did you live before moving to Nashville?
Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela; parents are from Texas, so I moved there when I was 17. Moved here from Houston 8 years ago.
Paddlers: What do you paddle - kayak or canoe? What type of water is your first preference, second and third?
I have my sweet Necky Rip 12 for flat water and am the proud new owner of an old-school (but newly outfitted!) Dagger RPM - he's hott!! :) I've only been kayaking for 2-3 years but have made up for it with obsessive devotion - tons of flatwater river paddling and stepping up the whitewater. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and new rivers this season, and, after that last TSRA session, I'm ready to roll! (Knock on rotomolded polyethylene.)
What are your favorite things to do?
Anything fun. Can you tell I've filled out a few of these? :)

Thanks so much for arranging a wonderful scenic paddle today on the duke. I had a terrific time; and appreciate all the effort that it takes to coordinate the event. Hope you had some great mexican food tonight. Hopefully see you on the river again soon. Have fun replaying today, tomorrow. bernice
