I'm in my third year of kayaking and look forward to the after-work paddles on Percy Priest and weekends on the rivers.
Born in Detroit, lived briefly in NJ as a tot, raised in Nashville, live in Murfreesboro, moving to Mt. Juliet.
I'm a flatwater and solid class .5 whitewater paddler, but pretty much swim everywhere. Wilderness Systems Tsunami 125 and Liquid Logic Remix 69.
I hike regularly in cooler weather, paddle in warmer weather, motorcycle in most any weather, and play music any time I can.
Great group of people and I love being able to get out and float more often.

Really nice photos, Ron. Especially the one of you and Ellen!
Too funny! Sorry I was oblivious! I will try to pay more attention to my surroundings. :) Honk your horn next time. ;-)
Nice photos, Ron!
Well, if it helps, I have pain from all my typing...and big, rock-like knots in my neck. Kayaking not gonna help that. Stinko! Maybe someone could just pull me along?
Oh. . .good thing. . .I logged onto meetup. . .I will tell him. Thanks!!! Talk to you soon!
Nice meeting you on the paddle today, Ron. Really liked your kayak! Hope to see you on the water again soon!
Hi, Ron. U must have been in the toy hl next to us at HCM w blue kayak on top? We were in white van. We came on to EHM for breakfast. No on here yet.
Hi Ron, welcome to NAE. See you on the river
HR was pretty warm last weekend, some cold spots. Some people wore sleeveless wetsuits or hydroskins, but we spent a fair amount of time in the water practising things. Would be good to check with your group leader before you go as conditions can change. Might work to wear regular gear and bring splash wear if you get cold. Sun screen sure came in handy.
Hi Ron! I passed the message onto Sadie. . .I will also message you with her email address. I am sure she enjoyed discussing music with you. . .had a fun time! We'll see you soon!!
