Wildlife Photography Workshop

There will be a Birds of Prey Wildlife Photography workshop which is not sponsored by the Nashville Photography Group but is something I thought I would mention since it might be of interest to some of our members. More details to follow in my comments below. A portion of the proceeds benefit Wings to Soar, a non-profit organization that cares for unreleaseable birds of prey and provides invaluable educational services to the community. NOTE: a minimum of 8 is required to hold the class and 10 is the maximum to allow time to interact with the birds. COST: $200 if paid for by Jan 31. $250 after Jan 31. Taught by Dianne Blankenbaker, contact her at [masked] for more information. Website for payment is www.snapgreatphotos.com /raptography. This is the part two of a workshop and requirements may be beyond the beginner camera photographer with a point and shoot. Looks like it requires a more advanced DSLR to capture stop motion and other advanced features: so if you are a beginner with an advanced camera you might enjoy this.

This is NOT a free event so make sure to prepay before the Jan 31 cutoff for a $50 discount. And enjoy! Wish I could be there but I will be out of town that weekend

Please remember, I have not taken this class and do not have any information other than what was provided or on the web page, but it does sound interesting and different and that is what this group is all about...trying new things and challenging our skill set. If you attend please let the rest of us know how you liked it and we might work out another session at another time.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
