Android Unit Testing, by Zach McCormick + Google Glass, civic development, pizza

Zach McCormick will discuss a unit testing paradigm that he has put together at his organization which employs Robolectric, RoboGuice, Mockit, and Cucumber.  This system allows them to unit test most their Android code and simultaneously perform acceptance testing and user story validation.  The project architecture that Zach will discuss outlines a useful archetype for starting industry-strength projects.

We'll also open up the meeting after Zach's presentation for attendee participation -- as in an open meeting.  If you've been working on something cool that you think is worth sharing, come ready to talk informally about it.  We'd like to hear what's going on in the community, and we'll be fishing for ideas for upcoming meetups.

Yiaway Yeh from the Nashville Mayor's office will discuss the 2014 Multi-City Innovation Campaign, an opportunity for local developers to participate in the assembly of apps using civic and government data.

Also, because a couple of the members of this group are Google Glass Explorers, we're letting anyone who attends try them out.

Did we mention there'll be pizza?   Come hungry.   Bring a friend!
