Category Tags and Custom Post Types : and a Responsive site review

Kenneth from Sprcclldr will be presenting on categories, tags, and custom post types.

Talk Description:

With so many ways to organize the information in a WordPress site, it’s almost impossible to tell when to use which method. This session will discuss the differences between categories and tags as well as when to use them. We'll also talk about when to use a custom post type or taxonomy versus organizing your site with page relationships.

John from Ah So Designs will also be doing a review of a recent responsive WordPress site that Ah So launched for a local nonprofit.

Other information:

If you would like to bring beer or other things to drink, we have a fridge.

There will also be time at the end of the talks for networking so bring your business cards!

Wish I knew how to code to avoid potential data loss d/t plugin use, oh my! Still stoked to try the recommended plugins. Occurred to me later that showing examples of how you've used custom post types (both static and dynamic) would have been good. Great stuff all around, though. Thanks!

There are two different dates listed for this meeting ... one is on Monday, November 19 at 7 pm and the other is Tuesday, November 20 with a date of 1 am to 2:30 am. What's up with that?
