Bethpage State Park Hike

In light of predicted weather conditions, and rather than cancel until a later time, we've scaled this event back a bit.

Those who had been planning to arrive at Hicksville Station at 9:30 a.m. will touch base with Joanne and Beads there, and then drive on to Bethpage Station or else take the 9:59 train to Bethpage. The train arrives in Bethpage Station at 10:04 a.m.

Those driving directly to Bethpage or taking a train to Bethpage from other stations will congregate at the CVS parking lot at the east end of Bethpage Station.

Once everyone has arrived, we will decide whether to drive or walk to nearby Bethpage State Park, where our hike leader, Joanne, will lead us on a journey along the trails. We will return to vehicles and/or Bethpage Station at the end of the hike.

Bring lunch, snack, plenty of liquids, and rain gear (just in case).

The 10 Mile Train to Train Hike, originally planned for June 28, will be rescheduled for a date this fall.
