What we’re about
NAMI Northern Virginia is the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation's largest grassroots organization that provides education, support, and advocacy to individuals living with a mental health condition, family members, and community.
We serve the Counties of Arlington, Fairfax and Loudoun and the Cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, and Falls Church.
We offer classes, support groups to individuals living with a mental health condition, and family members and friends, at no cost to participants. We also provide public presentations to raise awareness in our community. Anyone interested in knowing more about mental health, or seeking support as a family member or consumer, or wishing to participate in advocacy for public programs of funding and support, would benefit from joining this group. www.nami-northernvirginia.org
