Life coaching is a more holistic approach aimed at dealing with matters that cause a person to feel stuck both personally and professionally. Professional coaching is not to be confused with therapy or counseling, life coaching involves the development of the special relationship between the coach and the client which, other than looking to the past, plans for the future.

Coaching provides a confidential, nonjudgmental, impartial and completely personalized support structure that enables the individual to achieve far more than they ever would “going it alone”.

Clients come from all walks of life, and are unique in their desires, priorities and needs. The coach guides them towards identifying their own personal potential, clarifying their objectives and seeing their future clearly undistorted by people, emotions or events.

A life coach is not a psychiatrist. He is someone who will help improve a person’s personal and/or professional life by offering support and encouragement while suggesting new ways to achieve their goals. A life coach is more of a partnership than anything else. It is a support system with one goal in mind, improving their quality of life.

Professional History:  Tom has been in the healthcare field for 36 years, 15 years with hands on care which prepared him for his 21 years as a long-term-care administrator and consultant.  He consulted for small and large long term healthcare organizations in the areas of management, marketing, employee relations and patient care.  He now has a successful Hypnotherapy business focusing in health management.

That was an amazing meeting! I could feel the energy in the room. The presentation by Tom Ward was excellent. Really like that he left lots of time for questions! Our meeting after was great. Excited to see where this new energy will take us! See everyone next month on August 13th at 6:30 pm at Brandman University in Lacey.
