As the Director and Lead Instructor of the National Personal Training Institute, I am creating a community of shared wellness knowledge. We will be organizing occasional meetups designed to created a ways of networking and continuing your education. We will have guest speakers presenting much needed information to continue building the credibility of personal training services. Topics will include, but are not limited to postural and movement analysis, program design, clinical topics and special populations, strength and conditioning for athletes, functional training, marketing and business strategies, becoming a personal trainer, and nutrition. All allied health professionals and health enthusiasts are welcome!

The National Personal Training Institute, located in North Raleigh off of Creedmoor Road, offers a comprehensive educational program to help prepare today’s fitness professional for success. We focus on bridging the gap between scientific theory and practical assessment and progression. Our students graduate prepared and confident to work with performance based or clinically requiring populations including: osteoporosis, arthritic, cardiac, pulmonary, natal, metabolic, orthopedic and much more. Here are a few highlights our program has to offer:

• North Carolina State Department of Education approved 500-Hour Comprehensive Personal Training Program
•Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certification
• Nationally recognized and state licensed Personal Training Diploma
•CPR/First Aid/AED certification

• Curriculum Highlights:
• Detailed 100 hours of Anatomy and Physiology Instruction and Application for general, athletic and clinical populations
• 100 hours of in depth clinically focused Nutrition Instruction
• 100 hours of the fitness professional theory including: business, insurance, fitness environment, networking, guest lecturers and recruitment, clinical and performance assessment, postural analysis and movement analysis….
•100 hours of personal training experience and 100 hours of group involved workouts and practical experience
