Thanks! Leave the information on this site for other people, too. It's exactly what I wanted to know. You assumed that everyone already knows what the march is about but--surprise!--MLK's speech was a long time ago and I bet 80% of readers don't identify this date with that speech. Thanks again.

This marks the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington where Martin Luther King Jr. made his "I Have A Dream" speech. Thousands are expected to attend. To give you a sense of the size, UAW Region 9A alone (covering NYC area, New England, and Puerto Rico) is sending nineteen buses down to DC.

What is this about? You say the NWU is providing free buses to Wash.DC but you don't say why. Is this a Writers Rally? A workers rally? A union rally? A civil rights rally? What are you marching for? The first commandment for any writer: Who, What, Where, When and Why.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
