Washington Native Plant Society - South Sound Chapter Pages

The South Sound Chapter (SSC) of the Washington Native Plant Society (WNPS) serves primarily Pierce and Thurston County, but we have members from neighboring counties as well. October through May we hold monthly meetings featuring special presentations by guest speakers. We also conduct field trips and native habitat preservation and restoration work parties throughout the year. Workshops may occur at any time of the year and we also enjoy collaborating with other organizations promoting environmental issues. All of our activities are open to the public with WNPS members having priority on field trips.

Join our meetup group, attend our presentations, take part in hikes and other sponsored events. For more information see the Washington Native Plant Society (WNPS) website at http://www.wnps.org or the South Sound Chapter (SSC) website at http://www.southsoundchapterwnps.org.

“The mission of the Washington Native Plant Society is to
promote the appreciation and conservation of Washington’s native
plants and their habitats through study, education, and advocacy.”
