The MOMS Club of Sacramento-Greater Natomas is open to all moms living in 95833, 95834, 95835 and 95838. The MOMS Club of Sacramento-Greater Natomas is a chapter of an international non-profit organization that offers support and variety of activities for stay at home mothers and working mothers.
All events are held during the day, when moms need the most support. Children of all ages are welcome to ALL events. Events generally take place in Natomas and are free or inexpensive. Events are often and occur at many of the great parks that Natomas offers.
We have fun play dates and play groups so the children can make friends and learn how to interact with each other. Sometimes we get messy on Craft day, splash in the water at a spray park or allow the children to paint their hands to make hand prints at Art Beast. We have even been known to let our children play in the mud at Regency Park's stream feature.
We have field trips to help you explore the world with your children. Some of our field trips have been exploring the local fire station, or traveling to the train museum in Old Sac. In the past, we have ventured to the snow for a day of sledding and building snowmen.
We have a mom's night out each month for a little fun without the children. Often this event takes place at a restaurant for dinner but we also have tried our skill at making jewelry. Some months, all we need is a little cafe and chatting time together at the local coffee shop.
Throughout the year, we have holiday potluck parties such as: Trunk-or-Treat, Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas Party, Valentine Exchange and Spring Egg Hunt.
At the monthly social, we get together to discuss business such as the planning of a holiday party, community service projects and we occassionally have guest speakers.
Please come join us at our monthly social held typically on the third Wednesday of the month at the South Natomas Library. For details and to RSVP please email MOMSClubNatomas@gmail.com. Hope to see you at an event soon!
