Honey, Wax, Propolis and Royal Jelly

Taste 30 different kinds of honey, pollens, herbal medicinals made with hive products, and hand process honey from the hive. You’ll appreciate the bees even more after this lively class.

The information in these classes is both practical knowledge about keeping bees and also about the deep role honeybees play in Nature. The purpose of the classes is to bring people into a more supportive and understanding relationship with the honeybees and support the wonderful work they do in the world.

These methods embody respect, kindness and sacredness of Life. You'll learn to use your senses (and common sense) to understand bees from season to season. These classes are good for beekeepers and bee-friendly gardeners who want to care for bees in an organic and biodynamic manner. Jacqueline also includes her embarrassing list of mistakes with the hope that you won't have to repeat them. This is wonderfully helpful knowledge for people who want to know more ways to help bees thrive.

Wonderful having Matt and Madelyn from Mickelberry Gardens who brought their propolis and honey creations. We mashed up part of Jody B's harvested honey (and got very sticky). Lots of info about propolis, honey, pollen, wax and royal jelly. We had on hand about 45 different kinds of honey and ended class with everyone tasting all of them.
