We are a group of photographers who want to practice shooting portraits on locations using natural available light. We get together in parks and interesting places with volunteer models to practice our skills and learn as much as possible about capturing beautiful portraits. We are a mix of all skill levels. This group will provide members with opportunities to participate in structured photo shoots, to learn portrait techniques and build their portfolio. Most of all we are trying to learn to 'see the light' which is a skill only acquired with lots of practice. We encourage interactive approach to models, and discourage 'shooting from the side' as an observer. We have experienced photographers acting as mentors to the rest of the group. This is a relaxed group, everyone is welcome.
