Hi Ladies (and gentlemen),
There is a 5:20 showing of Good Hair at Regal Cielo Vista (across from Ingram Park Mall) this Saturday. Since not many people seem able to make it Friday night, we will try Saturday. This should give us time to watch the movie and enjoy dinner afterwards. There's a Texas Roadhouse restaurant right across from the movies, but I would appreciate dinner suggestions! At almost every Natural Hair event, we end up sharing our favorite hair products and styling routines. So here's an event where we can Show and Tell what, and who, works best for us and out natural hair styles. Bring your favorite products or business cards/contact info for your favoite stylist. If you've got pictures of your natural process, bring those too! This will also be Soul Food potluck number 2, back by popular demand! I miss seeing everyone, hope to see you soon!

A natural member, Rahwa, turned me on to this amazing sounding exhibit. The next day is the last day for this exhibit, so if you can't make it with us, please check it out before the end of the month! The museum admission is $4 for adults. We will meet in front of the museum at noon. Email me if you want my cell number, in case you need directions or will be late. Depending on how many of us show up, We'll tenatively plan to go for a late lunch at Mi Tierra Mexican Restaurant (it's in the same plaza as the museum). Cultural, Fun and CHEAP- what more could you ask for :) Got a different time in mind? Let me know what ya'll think. See everyone then!

Hey Naturals,
Ok, it looks like everyone is busy with holiday activities! Since only one person signed up for Downtown Fiesta, I'll reschedule for next month when everything settles down! Happy Holidays! As requested, here's a different day, time and location so hopefully we can ALL get together for a good time! The food is Mexican and the mojito's are the best! There's also live music starting at 9 if you want to stick around for some great Salsa music. The website is www.rosariossa.com. Several members mentioned they like Sushi, so I'd like to introduce you to my favorite spot! It's right at 410 and Vance Jackson, behind Academy. They also serve regular Japanese/Chinese food for the faint of heart! Prices are between $6 and $12. I look forward to seeing everyone! Agenda:
