Come on out to land near beautiful Hawk Mountain for an over night excursion.

This is a combination meetup initiated by Brian from Southeast Pa Survivalist and  Bushcraft. The plan is to keep it loosely organized, relaxed and enjoyable. The "start and stop" times posted for this meet-up were picked to maximize weekend time. You do not have to stay the full 2 days at the camp, you can come and go or just come for a couple of hours to hang out, it's up to you. Work it into your schedule as you see fit. We'll do mini seminars on any bushcraft or outdoor survival topic that the people would like to do, time permitting.  We will be able to pick and prepare and eat what we forage. I will be doing mostly foraging for edible and medicinal plants and helping Brian with fire, water, shelters, edibles, trapping, tracking. Whatever skill you have to share now is the time to share it ! Yay! If you are willing to teach a skill please let me know! I'd love to see some of my herbalist and mushroomy meetup friends come out. Even if you can't do the whole weekend let me know when you'd likely be available to teach your stuff.

This is private land, we will have the camp to ourselves. There are bathrooms, clean water and a cleared camp area. No showers, heat or cabins. If you plan on staying the full 2 days you will have to supply your own food, be it PB and J, freeze dried, MRE, or whatever. I'll also bring out some wild stuff from my pantry that's now out of season. If you have wild foods you want to share or a special recipe, this will be a great time to demonstrate it. Just remember you must bring whatever you will need to cook your food, what we pack in we pack out! make your camp as fancy or as primitive as you want. Want to sing lullabies to the moon?, bring your guitar. Just be aware to stop when others are going to sleep.

Besides cooking gear you will also have to bring a tent unless you wish to sleep in a shelter you made, that's up to you. Suggestion; bring YOUR MEDICINE, sleeping bag or bed roll any survival gear you may have and want to play with, canteen or water bottle, a full tang fixed bladed knife, extra clothing, socks, fire making tools, poncho, toiletries, tick spray, first aide stuff, binoculars, compass, YOUR MEDICINE, etc. Now is the time to learn and practice make the mistakes.

Questions? give  a ring: Hugh[masked] or Brian[masked] or feel free to email I Hope to see you at this meet up it should be a great time!

Great people in a great spot sharing some really valuable knowledge. And the rain held off until we were ready to push off. A true skill share!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
