Hello fellow preparing people,
Just a few notes for this weekend's action packed skill sharing adventure:
* Please re read the full description of this weekend's meetup if you plan to attend. If you are bringing guests then MAKE SURE THAT THEY READ IT TOO. This simple action will go a long way toward a smooth running operation.
* NO ALCOHOL.
We will aggressively enforce this simple and respectful rule. We can't make it any clearer than that.
* We will be prepared to deal with both extreme heat and/or thunderstorms. We are erecting a large cooling station that will have shade and solar powered fans, this will also double as a rain shelter big enough to cover many of our planned skillshares.
* If you need any gear, advise or any other help related to this educational camping trip then please just ask. We strive to make these events as stress free and easy to join in as possible. We consistantly ( for almost five years now) put out a lot of effort in order for you to walk away with powerfully simple tools that can never be taken away from you. Maximize your experience. Please , if you have any questions just ask.
* Remember that you need not commit to staying for the whole weekend nor do you need to have all the gear and gadgets on the market. Come as you are for as long as you can. You are very welcome.
We the organizing team are looking forward to another great installment of what has become a favorite tradition amongst this group, any questions can be directed to Fernando 2158684743.
Stay sharp, take care.
Survive and Thrive Philadelphia
A group to study wild foods, medicine, tracking, birding, bugging, awareness and other primitive living skills. I have been studying this for many years and have an eclectic knowledge base. I will share what I know, and look forward to learn more from the group. All are welcome whatever your knowledge. This group will be outdoors based, with themed hikes based on the group's desire. Any mode of getting around outdoors will work; hiking, boating, floating. The goal is expanding our knowledge and sharing our love of nature.
