Warblers and fora of Little Saanich Mountain [moderate]

Meet me for a walk up Little Saanich Mountain (Observatory Hill) to listen to the evening bird song and see newly arrived warblers. We may also find more spring wildflowers blooming.

This is a [moderate] difficulty hike since we will be starting at the bottom of the mountain and hiking to the top. The trail climbs through beautiful second growth Douglas-fir forests and Garry Oak meadows to the top near the observatory.

Meet in the parking lot at the base of the mountain where Observatory Road intersects West Saanich Road. Bring your binoculars and water.
