Please feel free to bring a telescope, binoculars, or a camera to make your experience more enjoyable. We will be meeting at the visitor's center. THIS IS A FREE EVENT!! THIS EVENT WILL BE CANCELED IF IT RAINS!! This event is also sponsored by Ark Angels and Wild Spirit. We will be bringing some live owls (our educational animals) along as well. We hope to see you there!!

Thank you to all who attended, it was a fun evening. Since we did not get any owls in the wild, I thought I would share a brief video of the juvenile screech owls that were mentioned during the presentation.

Thank to all who attended, great night for star gazing and owl prowling.

While it was a little disappointing not to hear any wild owls, it was a fun evening, the educational birds were great and I would definitely do it again.

I've never been to Beaver Meadow. Should I wear my hiking boots or will I be OK in sneakers?

I would go with the boots. We will be moving through wooded areas and open field, but doing so in very low light conditions. The extra support goes a long way when you step on something unexpected.

The only registration for the owl prowl is through this Meetup site. Although the event is FREE, we are asking for donations to help offset the cost of our Meetup page to keep it going. A donation box will be available at the event.

Beaver Meadow has already been contacted and knows about our event. Since this is being run through Ark Angels and Wild Spirit it is all taken care of.

The walk will be about an hour. Of course it depends on if we find any owls. If we do then it might be a little longer.
