What would your "ideal" nature photography group include?

going out together , separating to do our own photography, or in a small group quietly. talking about stories of photography experiences & equipment. Having fun looking at each others photos. Providing some sessions for critiques. Having someone either from the group or someone from Chicago Area Camera Association, for example.

What inspires you about Nature Photography?

It is important to help others see the moment of beauty or video,to help when referendums or grant applications occur. The joy of beauty .

Freelance Photographer of Chicago Wilderness Magazine when it was in print form Citizens for Conservation photo documentation and pubilc relations Backyard & Arboretum photography 3 years living in Virginia Beach, Va 30 min from ocean, 3 hours from Mtns for personal photography

Grisby Prairie, Flint Creek Savanna, Glacier National Park


I enjoy the challenge of Nature Photography. I taught biology on an Indian Reservation 30 miles from Glacier National Park. It was wonderful for they had cross-country ski's for students and teachers. going up and having a quiet lunch was great
