What would your "ideal" nature photography group include?

Friendly helpful people who have better lenses than I do and like to let others use them? :) I'd like a photo group where we actually interact, maybe before an event starts we can discuss strategies/settings for getting the best shots. Maybe afterwards have coffee and do a quick assessment of what we got and missed.

What inspires you about Nature Photography?

The way the light hits something will get me every time. It's always nice if it's hitting something pretty, but the right light can make anything pretty.

What kind of Camera and Lenses do you use?

Pentax k-5 which is a cropped sensor, and lots and lots of lenses. Favorite lens is the[masked] superzoom.

What is your experience in Nature Photography or Photography of any type?

I took classes in film photography in Jr High and High School. I used point-and-shoot up until 2011, now I will haul the DSLR around with me everywhere.

Please list some of your Favorite Nature Spots in Illinois?

Chicago Botanic Gardens, Lurie Gardens, Morton Arboretum, Cantigny, and in Indiana Taltree Arboretum, the various Dunes parks and Miller Woods.

Hi, I'm Annette, I love photography and being outdoors, going to gardens, parks and the like. I'm doing a 365 project this year.
