What would your "ideal" nature photography group include?

There are lots of opportunities to learn new skills in a variety of ways; eg. macro shooting in a garden, hiking a few hours through a park, workshops with professionals, perhaps even trips to National Parks.

What inspires you about Nature Photography?

Being outdoors and stimulating all the senses... not just sight. It is meditative to be outdoors, away from the office and stresses of corporate life.

What kind of Camera and Lenses do you use?

Nikon D7000; f2.8/70-200mm, f2.8/24-70mm,f2.8/105 macro, f1.4/50mm,f4/12-24 mm, and f[masked]/18-200mm,

What is your experience in Nature Photography or Photography of any type?

I have taken photography classes at a local college and have taken a workshop in Glacier National Park with Rocky Mountain School of Photography. I consider myself a advanced beginner.

Please list some of your Favorite Nature Spots in Illinois?

I really haven't done much photographing in IL. I sometimes go to the Chicago Botanic Garden which I really enjoy.

I am a single, professional woman who has recently found my passion in photography. I live in Racine, WI but love to travel and meet new people, especially those who share my passion.
