The ABBA tribute group was at LGPk last year and much fun! If I were still in IL, I'd be going. I'm glad you are organizing these, Terri! Miss you!

Kathleen--I hope you find the group, but at least you will have a friend with you. Concerts are not the easiest events to attend to meet any group for the first time. First-timers do better at dinner get-togethers where there is a restaurant with a defined waiting area (or at one of Crystal's Card-making for VA events at the LGPk library). Good luck!

Can you please have a sign made with the name of your group on a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper so we can find you? It was like looking for a needle in a haystack and I hadn't even met you in person yet to recognize you in the mass of people that were at the last concert.
I go to a lot of meetups and they have a sign held up and then we find the group. I asked someone for their cell phone number and didn't get that either.
I am bringing a guest again to the concert on Friday and hope you have something visual for the newbies to find your group.

    Terri says
These concerts have become very popular and crowded. Will be there with my dog at 6:30pm. Recommend that you arrive around the 6:30pm as I cannot save and ensure space for 10 people arriving at concert time. Location: Facing the stage, I will be on the right side of the grassy area near the water feature. Look for a purple chair with a large star.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
