For those of you who attended our Observatory Night presentation with
Kelly Korreck last night and wished to see an aurora, your dreams may
come true late this Saturday night. A powerful flare erupted from
the sun yesterday and the plasma wave is heading our way! Arriving in
the late hours on Saturday the 21st, hopefully our pending cloudy
weather will have cleared enough for us to see the sky light up. If the
aurora extends this far south, it will be best viewed from a dark location
so if the clouds part, jump in the car and head away from Boston lights. For
the latest aurora forecast, check out
 Good luck - David Aguilar
