When I RSVP to a science lecture or cafe, the following are true (please check all that apply):

Doreen and I (John) have been organizing Nerd Fun events for Harvard's Science in the News and Science by the Pint lecture series for the last few years. We notice that as many as 95 people will sign up for an event, but it seems that the number of people we actually run into and spend the evening with as a group is closer to 10. So we'd like to know your thoughts and preferences when it comes to RSVPing to events.
