Dinner & Death: Slither

Join Nerd HQ for a family style dinner followed by a deathly movie.  For you viewing pleasure this week we will be showing the 2006 comedy horror Slither.  Staring Firefly alum Nathan Fillion & Walking Dead's Michael Rooker, Slither is about a small town that is taken over by an alien plague, turning residents into zombies and all forms of mutant monsters.

As always, feel free to come out just for dinner (which we have prior to the movie) or just for the movie (which starts after dinner).  If you have never been to a dinner and death event before, come out and give it a try. We will be starting out the evening with a geeky Family Style Dinner, partaking in some delicious food and geeky conservation.  After dinner is over, we will start the movie.
This event is scheduled to start at 5:15pm (directly after the Geek Craft event) to allow people time to arrive and get settled and mingle with their fellow geeks for a bit prior to dinner. Dinner will start around 6:00pm-ish and after we finish dinner, Battle of the Damned will start (approx 7:00pm)

If you are planing on attending at least the dinner portion of this event, please RSVP as this helps the organizers to know how many people will be eating so the correct amount of food can be prepared.

We have lots of people who only come for dinner or only for death, its not necessary to participate in both parts of Dinner & Death, come just for dinner or just for the movie. There is no cost for the event itself, however there is a cost for the dinner (around $10), and any liquids you may wish to have.

PLEASE let Nerd HQ know, as a note in your RSVP, if you have any dietary restrictions, such as gluten or vegetarianism, as this will help us with the planning of your dinner.

Isn't this an exceptionally gross movie?
