Ink Club: What Will You Create?

Thanks to EVERYONE who has been coming out to our Ink Club meetings. We will meet again, this time we're taking a bit longer break in between in hopes the anticipation of getting together will bring lots of people out to get creative! Hope to see you there and in the meantime, keep creating! I'll expect to hear about the fabulous things you've done between meetings. Feel free to post your goals and accomplishments for between now and then in the comments! :)

The idea behind Ink Club is to give writers, artists and creative people of all types, the peer pressure nudge to sit down and actually be productive! (wow!) We'll combine focused Creative Time with breaks for socializing with the goal of making progress on our creative projects.

If you can't make it until after Creative Time has begun, no problem! Just come in, get settled and we'll say hello to you at the first break.

5:45pm to 6:15pm: Free time to arrive at the Cafe, eat, drink and socialize before getting creative.

6:15pm-7:15pm: Creative Time!

7:15pm-7:30pm: Time for a break and socializing. (or feel free to continue working right through the break if you're on a roll!)

7:30pm-8:30pm: Creative Time!

8:30pm: Time to perhaps share what we've been working on and say our good-byes until next time.

First rule of Ink Club, you don't talk during Creative Time! Okay, there can be talking, but the goal is to keep it to a minimum to create a quiet, focused environment.

We also have a Facebook group for updates, info and events (if we continue to have Ink Club!) at:

First day of new workout routine will make me late or miss tonight unfortunately...

Tried to reply last night, but was busy writing! (ha) For a workout, perhaps I can allow you to miss. :P

That was quite good! I wanted to share the writing technique that I've been using, and that I think most everyone last night was employing: Limit Break Writing. My most recent blog post has one day left to enter to win a book, if anyone here is interested! :) See you next time for more productive writing/creating.

If you're coming out for the first time (hooray!) there's always a name tag making station you'll see when you come in. Go ahead and make yourself a name tag and I'll introduce myself! (unless it's already Creative Time, which is fine, then we'll wait till the break to say hello)

Awesome idea. Glad I can make it out to this one; it's been ages since I've seen the beautiful faces of La Fontana!

This looks like the place for me to properly introduce myself.
Very much looking forward to talking about projects and the process of getting there.
