Dinner & Death: Vampires & Witches & Zombies...Oh my!

Nerd HQ's Dinner & Death event is something that we look forward to every week.  Starting directly after Geek Craft, for any who want to watch, there will be a screening of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  Tonight we are on episode 7.  Then we will have our family style dinner followed up by American Horror Story & The Walking Dead.

• PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS VERY HELPFUL FOR ORGANIZERS IF YOU RSVP FOR THIS EVENT.  This helps us plan how much food needs to be made.

New Time Schedule:

5:00pm - Buffy (to watch or not watch as you see fit)

6:00pmISH - Family Dinner

7:00pmISH - TV Shows

If you have never been to a dinner and death event before, now is a great time come out and give it a try. We will be starting out the evening with an episode of Buffy (or general chatter if you don't want to watch Buffy, whatever you feel like) then the TV's will get turned off for our Family Style Dinner, where we will be partaking in some delicious food and geeky conservation.  After dinner is over, we will start watching The Walking Dead & American Horror Story.

This event is scheduled to start at 5:00pm (directly after the Geek Craft event, we're having a general crafternoon) to allow time to arrive and get settled and mingle (or watch Buffy) with their fellow geeks for a bit prior to dinner. Dinner will start around 6:00pmish and after we finish dinner, the TV shows will commence.

• If you are having dinner, it is VERY helpful for organizers if you please RSVP for this event.

We have lots of people who only come for dinner or only for death, its not necessary to participate in both parts of Dinner & Death, come just for dinner or just for the movie. There is no cost for the event itself, however there is a cost for the dinner (around $10), and any liquids you may wish to have.

NOTES: PLEASE let Nerd HQ know, as a note in your RSVP, if you have any dietary restrictions, such as gluten or vegetarianism, as this will help us with the planning of your dinner.

Hopefully, it's not too late for me to respond... Omnivore except for fermented fish sauce (bad migraine trigger).

Which means I will never try the Inuit delicacy which consists of walrus meat/blubber buried for several weeks.

you know you can actually find haddock headache on google? ...well, actually, much more meaningful if you do one at a time. Thanks Alan, for getting me to do this - almost as exciting as studying the phone book!
