Dinner and a Cheap Movie!

This Meetup has been very successful in the past, so let's do it again!

There is a Regal Cinemas in Renton (close to where Hwy 167 meets I405). Movies there are only $3.50...Yes, you read that right! After a movie leaves the regular theaters, and before it hits DVD, it has it's go at this theater.

So how about we meet up at the Applebees in Renton (on Grady Way). This will give us all a chance to meet, get to know each other, and have some grub. Then we can make our way over to the theater and watch a movie with your new found friends! We have hosted events like this before, and they work out very well. The dinner just takes the edge off, like an icebreaker, and makes the movie a lot more comfortable, and a little less like you're watching it with a bunch of strangers... ;) So anyways, who's in?

Here is the website for the theater, if you'd like to see what is playing.

Personally, I've been looking forward to seeing either The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug or The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, but if other's want to see something else, we could split into a couple different groups.

Can't wait to see you there!!  :)

Awesome event. Had some time before the movie, and stopped by the new AFK's. AWESOME PLACE! We will host an event there soon!

Hey as it turns out something has come up and I cannot make it tonight. But I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a game night maybe next weekend?

Dan and I can host it at our place to take the burden off. I am thinking board games and a movie.

I'm running a little late. I should be there about 5:15.

Hey all. I'm coming unless someone tells me it's all full. My vote is for Hobbit or Gravity but I'm fine with whatever.

There's plenty of space. We've had 20+ people sign up before, so no worries at all! Looking forward to seeing everyone. I'll be arriving at Applebees around 4:45, so we can get some tables set up. Happy hour pricing is from 3-6, so we will get half off appetizers and cheap drinks! See you guys around 5!

I might only be attending dinner. All the movies that I'd be interested in I've already seen but I want to come out and meet some of you guys.

That is fine. Come on over to
      Applebees. Happy to meet you.

Yeah, no worries. :) I see that Gravity was added to the line-up. That's always an option too.

I vote for Thor or the Hunger Games.

We saw Thor at the last event like this. If there's enough people who haven't seen it yet, we could split into a couple groups. Personally, I'd like to see Hunger Games, or The Hobbit.

Can be there, if someone can give us a lift to and from the cinema.
