The Real Folk Blues: Burlesque Inspired by the Music of Cowboy Bebop!

Cowboy Bebop is the best anime ever. No, it is. It has won multiple awards for its characters and storyline and is critically acclaimed by absolutely everybody… But that’s not the most important thing right now. What’s important is that it also has one of the most recognizable, extensive and mind-blowing soundtracks EVER. The Real Folk Blues: Burlesque Inspired by the Music of Cowboy Bebop! starts with that soundtrack, and invites the most talented burlesquers this side of Titan to make amazing sexy art with it! This is NOT a Cowboy Bebop-themed burlesque show--this is a whole new galaxy of creativity inspired by the genre-blending musical masterpiece that is the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack. See you… There!

Featuring burlesque performances by Scarlett O'Hairdye, Bolt Action, Sara Dipity, Whisper De Corvo, Sin De La Rosa, Lady Drew Blood, Sailor St. Claire, Maggie McMuffin, Stella D'Letto, and headlined by Your Own Private Radical, Randi Rascal!

Hi, everyone! I'm Scarlett O'Hairdye, the producer of The Real Folk Blues! While I will be unfortunately unable to join this Meetup properly, I can facilitate it happening! Here's the plan:

1. Buy GA tickets to the 7:00pm show of The Real Folk Blues. Say in the "How did you hear of us?" question that you heard about it from Meetup so I can get a headcount.

2. Meet at the Rendezvous at 6:00pm for drinks and snacks. I will reserve a table with a sign that says "Nerd Meetup!" so you know where to sit. I'll also pop out and say hello before the show.

3. At 6:45 pm when doors open, enter the Jewelbox Theater. I will reserve a table in the theater as well for the Nerd Meetup.

4. Enjoy the show!

The 7:00pm show just sold out, everyone, so if you were hoping to get tickets at the door for that one, you're out of luck. There are still tickets available for the 8:30pm show, though! They're on sale through noon tomorrow!

Remember to get your tickets ahead of time and say you heard about the show from Meetup, so I can reserve the right size table for everyone!

Conditionally, we may be able to make it to this one. It certainly sounds like a grand plan. :-)
