Project Night!

We're now meeting once a month to do cool stuff!

From eco-hacking to enviro-sensoring to bioblitzing, we have a fun and fascinating agenda for this month’s Project Night…

Last month’s Brainstorm segment was so much nerdy fun that we're doing it again! As one Nature Nerd in attendance noted, "The ideas one hears in brainstorming shout-outs are fantastic, original andbrave." Come join the fray.

Lots of the tech conversation is Swahili to me, but the Nerds are good teachers. Great Blitz talk. Thanks Stemans for hosting.

Some things I'd like to talk about 1) quarterly megablitzes and subquarterly microblitzes (e.g. keeping organizers from getting blitzed out), 2) balancing outreach, data generation, and naturalist fun time, 3) think up ways to measure impact other than observations / species / participants (simple follow-up survey? head count at signup vs. wrap? repeat blitzers?) 4) metrics / visualizations to compare bioblitzes, 5) my obsession with enumeration and forward slashes

Tilden Blitz was swell. Green Hairstreak Blitz this Sunday. I love listening to this community on Stamen nights.
