This is kind of like the bio section, isn't it? I'm back in the Bay Area after being gone for a number of years, but I'm not sure or how long. I'm looking for work and would love to be back overseas, but in the meantime it would be good to get involved with some local projects and meet folks with similar interests.

What types of projects do you like working on most?

Cartography, landscape ecology, nature photography, climate change, paleo-ecology, wildlife connectivity, species conservation, field-work of all sorts, adult science education and communication, community based natural resources management... pretty much anything science and ecology based.

How did you hear about Nerds For Nature?

From a graduate school classmate.

I'm a Bay Area native with a background in ecology and anthropology. Over the years I've worked on habitat connectivity in Vermont, mapped ice flow in Alaska, tracked bears in Ecuador, taught in China, and worked in the California wine industry.
