Clothes/Shoes/Accessories Exchange

Here's how it works--

1)Clean out your closets and jewelry bins. Shirts, pants, dresses, heels, belts, earrings, any clothes, shoes, or accessories are fair game. Bring with you anything that you don't care to keep anymore. You won't get it back! This isn't about borrowing. Make sure you are okay with letting it go for-ev-er.

2)At the party, we'll lay everything out. You will get a ticket for each item that you've brought. If you bring 5 items, you will get the opportunity to leave with 5 items. If everyone has had a chance to take home what they want, then we can go into the "double dipping" phase where you might end up taking home even more than you've brought. The more you bring, the more you can take home with you!

3)We will take turns picking out our favorite items while listening to music, drinking, and partaking in general merriment.

4)Any items not claimed can either go back to their owner or be donated (I'll compile the leftovers and drop them off).

You should bring with you--

1)Your clothes/shoes/accessories to give away.

2)Wine/beer/food to share.

Yes, that happens. I hope it doesn't discourage you! I find that no matter what, just the right people show up. =)

Bummer! But people are often willing to carpool; you can try that next time. =)

I sent out an email with my address for tomorrow. Please contact me if you did not get it so that we can remedy the situation!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
