Get Tech Collaboration Crew - Let's talk mobile technology for older/disabled

*Note - THIS IS A VIRTUAL MEETUP VIA GOOGLE HANGOUTS, to take part, please click through to and request and invite.

You may remember a while back that we partnered with Good for Nothing to run a Get Tech event, where many fine folks got together to discuss mobile technology (tablets, smartphones etc) and how they can enable people with disabilities and the older and wiser community. Well, Get Tech is now at the point of creating a Get Tech Collaboration Crew, who will get together virtually to share ideas, stories, and look at ways to collaborate and work together. Do you want to be part of it?

This is a partnership event with Get Tech, part of The You Can Hub

When: 4th April
Time: 3.30pm
Where: Google Hangouts
Who: Anyone interested in using mobile technology to enable the lives of those with disabilities and/or older and wiser people. If you identify yourself as being part of one of those communities, you are of course welcome as well!

What's Get Tech?: Check out for details. It is a project of The You Can Hub, who we are partnering with for this event. Cost: Free! Just costs a bit of your time :) See you there? Any questions about the topic or how to join please do get in touch.

Want to tweet about it? Use the hashtags #net2 and #gettech

How do I sign up? click through to and request and invite. You will then get an invite via Google+. Click yes you are going. *Note, you need to have a gmail account to take part in this one.

**Note: please be gentle with us, using Google Hangouts with a group like this is a bit of an experiment!

Thanks Paul and Sheila for joining the rest of us at the google hangout! Sheila, I hope you were able to hear us as we couldn't hear you. Hope it was useful! Lots of laughs and felt it was really productive! If anyone is interested in more with this topic please feel free to follow the google + page where further discussions will take place
