Hi all!!
Sorry for the last minute scheduling switch up - we're excited to have Marc Nathan (of ChaiOne) coming to speak with us this month!!
Here's the lowdown on his presentation:
Houston is poised to become the third largest metropolis and is well known for it's entrepreneurial mindset. This extends to the non-profit world as well - oil wealth is directly responsible for the rise of the Houston Medical Center, the Houston Endowment and countless creative and art related organizations. This talk will touch on how to transform financial goods (economic wealth) into social goods (cultural diversity).

Marc's presentation was awesome. The discussions and engagement during the presentation added to the awesomeness! I met some really smart and interesting people. There were many people in that room that I've looked up to and respected for quiet a while that I got to meet and talk with. Thanks to Ed Schipul for organizing this Meetup and Marc Nathan for delivering such a great presentation.
