Writing for the Web

Danae (Dan) Sinclair is a content writer and strategist with fourteen years experience working on online projects. Trained in marketing, she's a word nerd with a secret stash of sci-fi novels and not-so-secret love of new ideas about everything.

Dan plans to talk about 'best practice for web' writing principles, including the use of plain English and how to provide pathways to goals for readers.

My big take away is about avoiding in-content links. It's making me re-think my own practices.

Should we only include links that direct visitors further towards your ultimate goal and avoid links that take people away from it?

Always a good question to ask, Tony! Does this link add value to my message/strategy and build relationships with my readers? If no, then leave it out.
