It has been a while since we set up NetSquared Adelaide
and we haven't had the opportunity to meet just yet.
Thankfully, we're finally able to get things going and we're planning on setting up our inaugural meeting on the 3rd of Feb 2011, 4 to 6pm, Thursday.
With that in mind, our group needs your help with ideas for our first meeting.
We're currently trying to organise the following:
> A theme/topic (and speakers that go with these themes/topics; we're considering inviting 2 for our first event) --- Is there any subject that you'd like to be covered? Any speaker for social enterprise/nonprofits that you might like to suggest?
> Venue - We're anticipating around 40-50 people in our first event. Do you know of a place that would be good to hold this meeting? Ideally, we'd like a private function room where people can listen to a couple of speakers and hold workshop/networking sessions. And, it should be where we can have drinks and nibbles afterwards.
> Sponsorship - Connecting Up Australia (connectingup.org) will be partly sponsoring the event. However, if you know of anyone else who might be interested in sponsoring, please let us know. We'd love to talk.
