February Meetup

It has been a while since we met. Thomas Lane has arranged the class room at BCIT on 27th Feb. Jamil (NASP graduate) has volunteered to present on a linux server build process that uses Puppet, Spacewalk, and Kickstart. Hope that the next meeting will give us a good opportunity to meet each other and another chance to learn collaboratively.

Look forward to see you on 27th Feb.

Thanks everyone for attending the Meetup. I have uploaded the slides, "CentOS_Spacewalk_Cobbler_Puppet.pdf" in the Files section. Sorry for late.

This would be my first meeting since joining. I see it is going to be about Linux. Just like to put it out there that I hated Linux at school. Just when I thought I was getting it then something else wouldn't work for me. Got a good mark in it but didn't enjoy it. Tried doing the things I saw in the Lab Sims on my virtual machine loaded with Ubuntu but none of them would work. Always aid I needed some module that had not been loaded and was not available to load, so got very frustrating. Could not practice anything. So this could be interesting for me.
