I had a great time. It was a last minute opportunity for us that yielded some great contacts. I will be in touch with people shortly. If you missed me, I am the captain of the yacht that was there. I was on the fly bridge nearly the whole time, chatting with those who ventured aboard and upstairs. We welcomed everyone on the yacht and welcome you next time as well! Next meetup, hopefully, will be at a venue where we can dock again. Maybe I'll bring both boats!

I had an excellent time. It was great to meet so many interesting people. It was a bit crowed and loud, so I’m certain I did not meet everyone. I would love to connect online with anyone that could benefit from my companies services or products. My company www.brandmarketers.com designs and implements non-traditional marketing / advertising programs. We are also now selling our T-Shirt TV® video clothing line that features garments with embedded interactive screens in them. www.t-shirttv.com
I relocated to Miami two years ago and would love to make more new connections.

Never mind... I just checked out your website. Your team seems to have some brilliant ideas. Connect with me on LinkedIn: LinkedIn.com/in/thereforeAndres. If you check out my profile, you'll see a publication about balanced business growth. It's for my clients (existing and prospective). One of the things we encourage them to do is to think outside the box and embrace gorilla and grass roots efforts. I'd love to start a dialogue about what you can do for them and I think I could send some business your way. Keep up the interesting work !!

I saw your shirt, and loved it! I was pretty busy as I am the captain of the yacht that we brought. I was talking with a lot of people up on the fly bridge as they toured the yacht. But I like the approach with the mini tv.

Too noisy. The blaring thumping music is the antithesis of what a networking event should be. It was impossible to talk to people. There was so much furniture in the bar that one could nog walk around. Overall really bad

Understandable. Hopefully the next one will be at a better venue

Yeah! Actually --and I hope the organizers are listening-- given the purpose of the meeting, an empty large meeting room in an OK (clean!) hotel with ample parking would serve just as well. In my experience, what people want is (1) opportunity to meet lots of people and talk to them to gauge the "fit", (2) easy access, (3) free parking

I thought it was funny a few people I talked to said they were there to network not for business.... I guess they don't know what networking means.

I did meet a few good contacts that made the event worth it.

    Nice meeting everyone.

    How is the party everyone?

      Sorry, LinkedIn.com/in/thereforeAndres

The venue was way too noisy. I think that a sign of that is that the parking lot at the end of the street, which was full at 6:30 when I arrived was empty by 8:00 pm when I left.

It is very uncomfortable to have to shout everything all the time just to be heard over the booming music. It would be much better if one can have a conversation in a normal tone.

Unfortunately, i didnt bring business cards to share with the people i met; but i found it lovely to be able to meet so much people. I think the next time the event has to be at a place that can handle bigger capacity. If i didnt get a chance to talk to you, add me on linkedin and keep in touch. You necer know when those connections can actually help you or viceversa: www.linkedin.com/in/mcdiazg if you find the profile and it is the profile of an industrial engineer, then you know you hve actually found the right person. See you on linkedin :)
