Let's take a look back to the introduction:
"Events take place monthly which allows guests a chance to foster new professional connections in a relaxed atmosphere conducive to business and social networking". More to come:
"Network After Work events give guests a chance to get their name and brand in front of some of Miami's top business professionals while visiting the city's best After Work destinations".

That's totally not true, it was really waste of time and money.

Hello Eli, Thank you for your comment. I am sorry the event did not meet your expectations. We try to live up to what is written on our website, I am sorry this event did not live up to what was promised. We generally do not hire DJ's this is something that the venue did it also didn't help that there was a Heat game going on the same evening. I would like to offer you a complimentary ticket to the next event, please email [masked]. Again, we are terribly sorry for the inconvenience and hope you will give our events another try.

This was a mob scene, too many people, not enough space, a genuine cattle call. There were several hundred people there, but unless you were shouting you weren't communicating, it was that loud and the crappy DJ wasn't helping anyones cause either.

If you are looking for a networking group with tons of people that you can't talk to this event is for you. On the other hand you would be just as well served to hand out fliers a the doors of the metro-rail. I dont usually leave negative reviews, its not my nature, I just dont say anything and look for something better. It's been a long time since i felt like the most valuable thing I got from a networking event was a free beer.

Hello Michael, Thank you for your comment about Tuesdays event. We were excited to host the event at Gastro Pub and hoped guests would enjoy it. I just spoke to the event manager and she confirmed that there was a DJ. We never hire DJ's, unfortunately the venue hired the DJ and we were unable to control how loud it got. With

With that said, we do have very large events but we generally pick venues that have the space and can control such a crowd. I am sorry you had such a terrible time, we certainly don't want you to feel that way and would like to have you try our events again. Please let us know via email if we can provide you with a complementary ticket for next months event. Please contact [masked]

I stopped by, saw the mob, remembered what not the previous, but the one before was like, and left without even bothering. Why someone would have a networking event with music blaring is beyond me.

I think you will find that most of the "networking" events here on Meet Up are more Social than Business Michael. Not sure I would go to such an event at a pub during happy hour and have high expectations or hope of discussing too much business. Hope it won't put you off coming for the free beer next time though!! :-)

I would like to go to one of your events this summer, although I can't go to the May one. Please have someone contact me at [masked] or 3056087768. Where are you events held - are most of them in S Miami?
