In other business meet ups & meetings I've attended, not social meet ups, their policy was to follow professional business etiquette (no children)...however, one business meeting does allow children 12 and older to attend because they can behave better and are not a distraction from those doing business. Perhaps we should put it up to the group to decide what the group would like the atmosphere to be-professional or social? I don't mean any disrespect to Veronica, I'm sure her toddler behaves WAY better than mine did, and... if the group is meant for business, than we should respect those business professionals in the group. Besides, every mom deserves a break, and this could be a good one for her!

Veronica, as administrator of the group I am very happy that you want to join our meet up. We provide support and networking for ALL women in business. Looking forward to meeting you. This group was created to support entrepreneurial women especially those who work from home. While we do not have any child care provisions there are long time members who have brought their children to the meetup and it has worked out fine. If you have any questions please feel free to call me directly at[masked]

I don't have a business but want to research and get ideas to start one up. Is it ok for me to join you girls? I need some positive feedback from others who have successfully opened their own business. Thanks Lynda
