Join us for our regularly scheduled socials every 2nd Wednesday of the month. This month we will be at the Mercury Ballroom– the hottest new music venue in town on 4th in Chestnut in Downtown Louisville. We'll be partying in up VIP style on the top floor with our very own private bar! We'll be opening up the doors a little later, at 6 pm instead of our usual 5:30 pm, but don't worry we've got a little (actually BIG) something planned just for you. The fine folks at the Mercury Ballroom are letting us crash the Kaiser Chiefs concert afterwards! Amazing, right?!? But to get this sweet deal, you need to RSVP ASAP, tickets are first come, first serve. So get on it!

Parking: Street parking is free after 6 pm and there are several parking garages within walking distance for a small fee.

Event is free and open to the public, even if you are "Old2Lou" or "ReNew2Lou". So come join us as we mingle with Louisville’s finest newbies!  Look for the signs and people with New2Lou name tags. RSVP today!

If you go to one of these events and say I couldn't talk to people? You are either to sober or too drunk. Everyone is approcable.

I think you are completely wrong... you shouldn't have to be any level of intoxicated to attend these functions. You may need it to talk to people but others may not. It was too loud before the concert ever started, everyone expected it to be loud after they started but before hand it was like socializing in a bar which I could do on my own time without coordinated events.

This was my first new2lou meeting. It was not what I expected.

Don't let this particular event skew your expectations. My first New2Lou event was awesome, this one I didn't really dig. Give it another shot, you just might meet some interesting folks.

The Kaiser Chiefs are best heard loud! Had a great time. Great band from back home in blighty!

The first event I attended was at a Museum & I had a blast. This time had a different vibe - more resembled going to a bar solo & weaseling your way into someone's convo. Very awkward this time around. Plus it was SO LOUD! Definitely had a hard time hearing people.

Just awkward for first timers... not really sure how to talk to people and it was so loud I felt like I was yelling at people....

Yes, what is the recommended dress code? I'm all about jeans, so please let me know if that's not acceptable

What's the official/recommended dress code for this event? I was thinking casual then I saw mentions of a "VIP style" party and that made me second guess myself...

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
