Join is for a day hike up Mount Monadnock in Jaffrey NH.
The typical route is the white dot trail, which can take 2-3 hours depending on the group. We can then relax and have lunch at the top before descending.
Please be aware this is not a casual hike, but roughly two miles of upward climbing among large rocks. It's a beautiful hike, but is a major workout for us city folks.
Please bring plenty of water, snacks, and layers of clothing. The hike up will feel warm, but the top is often windy and cold, and I'd like everyone to be prepared.
I've been to the mountain many times over the last 25 years so reach out with any questions.
Looking forward to seeing some of you!
I plan to meet at the visitors center at 10am and am open to carpooling from central MA.
