Finding opportunities to exercise me and my dogs with other dogs in beautiful settings where it's such fun it doesn't seem like exercise.

Ahu, 5 yrs, 115 lb Anatolian Shepherd, an animal guard breed originating in Turkey. Lazy by nature, she's a "watch" dog--looking for predators after the flock and needs mental stimulation more than exercise, gets easily bored, and has a strong drive to be with other animals and children. Adopted high spirited Zeki,@ yr ago-2 yr old Anatolian/Black Cur? mix. SA Pets Alive found this adorable pup on the anesthesia table minutes away from execution! Picked up in the barrio bald, tire marks on legs, and just 39 lbs, they claimed full grown. Jokes on me: He is now 70 lbs, healthy and needs Lots of fun exercise or gets very destructive and tortures Ahu non-stop.
Having fun getting into their movie & out of mine during daily nature fixes: exploring gorgeous river walks & wades; finding fun activities to do with dogs exploring city, state and national parks; extensive traveling on pet friendly vacations, mostly ranches across US and Canada. "Camp Carol' for kids & pups. 'Keeping Big Pawz Weird' by planning unusual dog friendly venues-like private wine tastings for dogs. Bbqing 2 day brisket in my Texas smoker whilst my dogs guard it & I read, read, read.
Any ideas for cool water wades? It's dangerously hot now on out for my furry Anatolians.
Jessica, you should charge big bucks for the mentoring Ahu and I got for free. Your confidence handling that 110 lb. great dane pup is contagious and gives me hope for sharing more freedom with Ahu. I would have been nervous by myself..
