I just got my invoice from meetup. The cost for six months to pay meetup.com for the use of their site is $72.00.
I would rather not foot that bill every six months. Of course, I want the group to continue!
We could do one of several things to pay
the meetup bill:
1) Move the Group to a Facebook Fan Page. That would mean that members here would need to be members on Facebook to join, but it would be free.
2) Pass the hat at each month's meetings to defer the cost of the meetup.
3) 50/50 raffles at the monthly groups. Half would go in a pot to pay the meetup cost.
4) Charge a membership fee to join this group.
PLEASE, I need your help and advise on this!
Could you take minute to email me and/or the group your thoughts?
If I don't hear from enough folks, I'll have to decide on my own.
