Re: [socialnetwork-442] Possible change Milford Drive In

Hi Nancy,

I'd go to the theater........I would love to see us go to the drive-in, but having worked at a drive-in as a kid, I know how they can be in the rain. (especially if you really want to sit outside)

I'm not sure of what to expect for weather...but I bring up the rain because it looks quit possible for that night.

Where would you want to relocate to? I'm not sure where the closest theater is in the Drive-in area. I see a place called Wilton Town Hall theater that seem to be only 4 minutes from the drive-in. (here are the driving directions)

We could move the whole thing to another place all together....say Chunkies in Nashua or Pelham.....but there are plenty of other options too and I don't know what people are thinking.

So let's get a discussion going....we only have a day to decide, but that's still a lot of time! (think positive, right... :-)

HI Quentin,
How about changing it to an indoor theater? We could do the Bedford or Manchester theaters, if that is central for people. Perhaps others who were interested in a Friday event but thought it was too cold would go if it were indoors.
I haven't heard from Robert, yet. I'm guessing he would be ok with this if we decide to change the venue.
So, an invitation for others to join this discussion...would you go if it were an indoor theater?

Hi Nancy,

I'm the other YES, and I certainly do want to go to the drive-in, but the weather forecast for this Friday evening looks to contain rain. I'm not sure if you want to go in the rain.....the forecast may brighten.....but what do you think?

The temperatures don't look all that bad....in fact, it talks about temperatures going UP as the day goes on.....

I will not back out if people think we should go.....but I'd rather get a discussion going on this. (Maybe we can take the whole thing to an indoor place....or just delay for another weekend)

Just a question,
-Quentin

Milford Drive In

You can change the time if you like. The reason we go early is to have time
to grabs some subs and then go over to the drive-in and grab a nice spot in
the front row. Then after setting up the chairs and coolers and radios, we
have time to socialize until it gets dark. Make sure someone brings a boom
box, because you will need one. You get the sound through a radio. Please
note this Friday is opening night. It was postponed because of the rain.
Looking at the web page, this is what is playing:

Screen 1:
1. Blades of Glory
2. Shooter

Screen 2:
1. Meet The Robinsons
2. Wild Hogs
