Happy Tuesday,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Now that Lent is over, time to get out and have some fun! We have a few new event organizers. Thank you to those who have volunteered. It is some work but also a rewarding experience. We could use some more, especially in the Manchester, Concord and Portsmouth areas. Thank you to those who have attended an event. Event Fees :

No way! No How! As long as I am the organizer of this club, there will be no event fees. I've seen the damage done when other clubs nickel and dime you and it will not happen here. Meetup currently charges $72 every 6 months to run up to 3 clubs. That's less than $3 a week. Heck someone could raise that by having a bake sale twice a year, now there's an idea. I cannot fathom why anyone would turn down the chance to host events free in a club like this, start their own club and then decide $3 a week was too much and then start nickel and diming their members. But that just me. Anyway off of me soapbox. I'd like to point out a few clubs that are free that I think are doing things right. Just in case you missed them.

Clubs you might want to check out:

The Boston Area Travel Meetup Group
The Boston Singles Meetup Group
Concord-Metrowest Area Singles Group

The Nashua Friends Meetup Group

Anyway, if you've read this far, thanks for reading.
